How many gigs is 2 tb?

Hi, I just bought a new laptop and it says 2 TB storage. My friend told me that's a lot of gigs, but I don't really know how much that means in gigs. Can someone tell me the conversion please?

It is 2048 gigs. I looked this up in detail because my orthopedic doctor advised storing all my digital spine scans on an external hard drive for easy long-term access during clinical follow-ups.

I think it is 2048 gigs, right? I am very new to setting up computer backups, so does this mean a 2 TB drive can hold twice as much as a 1 TB drive?

It is 2048 gigs. I totally get it, trying to figure out these technical numbers and storage sizes when you just want to backup your files can be quite confusing!

It's 2048 gigs! My brain has absolutely zero gigs left after pulling an all-nighter with my crying baby. Praying for a long sleep tonight.

It is 2048 gigs. Having a 2 TB drive means never having to worry about deleting old college assignments or heavy gaming files ever again!

It is 2048 gigs. If you are storing critical personal medical data, do not trust random internet forums for setup; check with a professional IT specialist for data security.

It's 2048 gigs. The binary math is very straightforward: 2 multiplied by 1024. Just buy a high-speed SSD and you are good to go.
