I'm looking to buy an external hard drive and saw one listed as 1.2 TB. I'm not very good with these technical specs, so can someone tell me how many GB that would be?

On my backup drive, 1.2 TB of space works out to around 1228.8 GB. I always calculate it this way when I'm clearing out space for my photography files.
