How many different kinds of arthritis are there?

My neighbour has arthritis, and my aunt also has it, but their symptoms seem quite different. This made me think about it. How many different kinds of arthritis are actually there?

I know there are over a hundred kinds, but in my family, we have mostly dealt with osteoarthritis. My mother found a lot of relief once she started customized physical therapy prescribed by her doctor.

There are actually more than 100 different types of arthritis, with osteoarthritis and rheumatoid arthritis being the most common. Since treatment differs completely for each type, getting a proper blood test and X-ray from a doctor is essential.

You will be surprised to know there are over 100 types of arthritis. For most of us, low-impact walking and keeping an optimal body weight are great ways to manage joint stiffness. Do get a proper diagnosis first.

Actually, there are more than 100 types, yaar. It is not just some old age knee pain. If you have constant stiffness in the morning, better to get it checked by a rheumatologist instead of ignoring it.
