How many del units of pain is childbirth?

My cousin just had a baby and she said the pain was unbearable, even with epidural. I'm a bit scared about my own delivery next year. Just curious, how much pain is it actually?

Honestly, that 'del' scale isn't even a real scientific thing, it's just an internet myth. But childbirth pain is serious business, kind of like doing a high-intensity endurance run without training. Staying active and keeping your core strong during pregnancy helps a lot with the stamina you need for delivery.

Forget these fake internet metrics, there is no real unit like 'del' to measure pain. Everyone has a totally different threshold when it comes to labor. Just talk to your gynac about epidurals and pain management options beforehand so you are mentally prepared.

Whatever the unit is, labor pain is intense and needs proper medical monitoring. During my delivery, my pain spikes were actually due to a sudden complication with the baby's position. Please don't worry about online numbers, just keep your doctor closely informed about how you are feeling.

It is honestly so overwhelming and those scary charts online only make the anxiety worse. I remember crying out of pure fear before my delivery thinking about the pain. Just know that your body is incredibly strong, and it is completely okay to feel scared or opt for pain relief.

Beta, these modern scientific terms are confusing, but pain in childbirth is a natural truth. In our times, elders suggested light walking and warm milk with a little ghee in the final weeks to keep the body flexible. Trust your doctors, keep your mind calm, and don't read too much online.
