How many days of fever before doctor adult?

I've had a fever since Monday, and it's Thursday now. I'm taking basic meds, but it's not going away completely. As an adult, at what point does a fever become concerning enough to see a doctor?

Honestly, if it's been more than 3 days, please stop waiting and go see a doctor. I usually try to keep up with light walking when I feel slightly off, but with a real fever, you need complete rest. Let the doc clear you first before you get back to any physical activity.

I say 3 days max is the limit. During this time, keep your hydration super high with coconut water and simple warm food, and hold off on the gym. If the fever still doesn't drop after day 3, go to the clinic and get proper advice.

Just got over a bad viral last week. I waited for 4 days thinking it would go away, but it only got worse and I became so weak. Seriously, don't make my mistake, if it crosses 2 or 3 days, get a blood test done through a doc.

Beta, do din se zyada bukhar achha nahi hota. Hum toh ghar pe thoda kadha peela dete hain par teesre din tak agar thik na ho toh turant doctor babu ke paas jana chahiye. Apna khyal rakho aur dahi chawal abhi mat khana.

I am always extra careful because of my hormonal health issues, so I'd say don't wait beyond 48 hours if the temperature is high. Sometimes simple infections can mess up our whole body system. Better to consult a general physician early and get a clear picture.

Usually, my mom waits till day 3 before dragging me to the family doc. If it's just a low fever, paracetamol works, but if it's touching 101 or 102 for more than two days, don't sit at home bro. Just get it checked so you don't miss classes.
