How many carbs should a diabetic have in one day?

My doctor told me to watch my carb intake for my diabetes. Can someone tell me how many carbs a diabetic should have in one day? Trying to follow the guidelines properly.

There is no fixed number that fits everyone. Please consult your doctor to get a safe, personalized carb limit based on your health.

I am not a medical professional, so I can only share that my doctor put me on a limit of about 130 grams of carbs a day. Swapping simple white flour for multigrain roti helped me maintain my energy without huge sugar spikes. Definitely consult your physician to find out what is best for you.

I completely understand the anxiety and sleepless nights that come with a diabetes diagnosis, as I used to obsess over every single carb gram. It is exhausting to worry about your health constantly. To ease your mind, please let a trusted doctor set a clear, safe daily plan for you.

In my journey, I have found that gentle yoga, deep breathing, and a moderate intake of natural, complex carbs work beautifully together. I try to avoid processed foods completely and focus on satvik, simple meals. I suggest discussing your daily diet with a doctor who understands your lifestyle.

Please be very careful with managing your daily carbs, as I ignored my diet for years and ended up with kidney-related issues. Don't rely on general numbers you read online or hear from friends. Go to a good endocrinologist and get a precise medical plan made for your body.

It is honestly so draining to suddenly feel like you can't eat your regular comfort foods without feeling guilty. I struggled with feeling like my body was failing me when I had to count carbs. Please know your feelings are totally valid, and working with a kind doctor can make this transition much easier.
