How many carbs should a diabetic eat per day?

I'm diabetic and want to keep my diet balanced. How many carbs should I be consuming per day to maintain good health and keep my sugar in check? It's all a bit confusing sometimes.

A standard medical guideline is to consume around 130 grams of complex carbohydrates per day. However, since every individual's insulin response varies, consulting your doctor or a clinical dietician is always the best approach.

When my father was admitted, the dieticians at Aster Medcity gave him a customized chart of 125g of carbs daily. I strongly suggest you ask your doctor clearly to give you a personalized limit based on your reports.

Bhai, pure din mein thoda sa rice aur do chapatis khao, aur meetha bilkul mat chhuo. Apni sehat ka dhyan rakho, sab theek ho jayega bhagwan ki kripa se.

To nourish your body properly, aim for 120-130 grams of daily carbs from whole grains like ragi or barley. Practicing gentle pranayama daily will also help in regulating your metabolism and keeping sugar stable.

Completely agree with the 130g daily limit. Swapping white rice for brown rice or oats is a very effective way to manage it.

Eating a handful of sprouts and drinking warm water with methi seeds daily helps manage a 130g carb diet. But if you feel very dizzy or have extreme thirst, please see a doctor immediately.

I have been managing diabetes for ten years now. Keep your daily carbs strictly around 130g, focus on fiber-dense vegetables, and make sure you walk for 15 minutes after each major meal.

Since I have thyroid along with fluctuating sugar, I restrict daily carbs to 110-120g. I highly recommend regular blood tests every three months and getting your doctor's follow-up to monitor your progress.

Because of my PCOS and insulin resistance, I aim for about 120g of daily carbs, but this is a very individual journey. Please be cautious and discuss your reports with your doctor before changing your diet.

I know how terrifying it feels to look at high sugar numbers and worry about what to eat. Staying around 130 grams of carbs daily really helped ease my mind once my levels stabilized, so take it easy.

My dad keeps his daily carbs around 130g. He basically just cut down on rice and stopped having sugary tea, and his levels have been completely fine since then.

I ignored my carb intake and suffered from kidney-related complications later on. Please do not guess your daily limit; see a qualified specialist immediately and get a proper medical diet plan.
