How many carbs should a diabetic eat everyday?

My husband was recently diagnosed with diabetes, and we are trying to manage his diet better. Someone told me carbs are important to track, but I'm not sure how much he should be eating daily. We are trying to keep his sugar levels in control.

In our family, we use simple multigrain flour and avoid white sugar completely to keep daily carbs around 130g. But please make sure you take your regular doctor's advice and medicines alongside.

Keeping daily carbs around 140g works beautifully if you combine it with a regular fitness routine. Even a simple 20-minute brisk walk after your meals helps lower those blood sugar spikes.

It can feel so isolating and frustrating to constantly worry about what you are eating every single day. Just aim for around 130g of daily carbs, take it one day at a time, and be kind to yourself.

With a busy office schedule, I stick to a simple plan of 40-45g of carbs per meal. This keeps my total daily intake around 130g and helps me manage my sugar levels efficiently without stress.

I don't have time for complicated macro counting every day. I just eat two small chapatis instead of three, which easily keeps my daily carbs around 130g without any extra hassle.
