How many carbs is a diabetic allowed daily?

My neighbor, who is diabetic, always worries about her carb intake. What is the daily carb allowance for a diabetic person?

Beta, the doctor told us to eat around 130 grams of carbs daily. Just avoid too much rice and potatoes, and eat fresh green vegetables from the local market. Take care of your health and don't worry too much, everything will be fine.

I can't provide any medical advice, but in my personal experience, keeping my carbs to 130 grams daily has worked well for me. I just track my meals and make sure to stay active. You should consult your doctor to see what is safe for your body.

Keeping your daily carbohydrate allowance around 120-130 grams, along with regular pranayama, can work wonders for your insulin levels. Focus on unrefined grains and fresh vegetables. A calm mind and natural diet are highly effective for healing.

Generally, most stable diabetics are allowed about 130 to 150 grams of carbs daily. However, this number must be carefully balanced if you are taking medications like insulin. Please consult your doctor to get a safe target tailored for you.

I was diagnosed last year and my doctor allowed me around 120 grams of carbs a day. I basically just replaced white rice with brown rice and cut out all junk food. It is tough initially, but my blood sugar is completely under control now.

Please don't guess your daily carb allowance or copy someone else's plan; I did that and ended up with severe complications. Go to a specialist immediately, get your HbA1c checked, and follow their advice. Don't make the same mistake I made.
