How many carbohydrates should a diabetic eat?

My wife has type 2 diabetes, and we're always looking for ways to improve her diet. Can anyone give a general guideline on how many carbohydrates a diabetic should ideally eat daily? We're trying to keep her blood sugar stable.

Honestly, I wish I knew a straight answer for this! My dad is diabetic and har din naya debate chalta hai ghar pe carbs ko leke. Main toh bas make sure karti hu ki he doesn't overeat anything, especially before bed. Bas yehhi chal raha hai.

Bhai, ye sab online puchne se achha hai apne doctor se poochho na. Har body alag hoti hai aur sugar level bhi. General advise se nuksaan ho sakta hai. Unko pata hoga tumhare liye kya sahi hai.

Carbs are tricky for diabetics. My uncle manages his well by focusing on complex carbs in moderation and pairing them with protein. And he walks like 45 mins everyday. Always check with your doctor first if you're planning any big diet changes or exercise, but exercise helps a lot!

For diabetes, it's not just about how many carbs but also WHAT KIND of carbs. Whole grains, veggies, and fruits are better than refined stuff. Plus, being active helps a lot in managing blood sugar. But for exact numbers, a dietician is the best person, seriously.

Please, please do not rely on general advice for this. My own relative had severe issues because they tried to self-manage their diet based on internet tips. Diabetes is serious. Go to a good doctor, get tested properly, and follow their exact guidance for carbs and everything else.

Mere husband ko diabetes hai aur humne dekha hai ki ek size-fits-all carb plan kaam nahi karta. Unki diet chart ek dietician ne banayi thi after looking at his blood tests and lifestyle. Usme proper portions aur timing bhi the. That helped more than anything.

It really depends on individual factors like activity level, medication, and current sugar control. My endocrinologist gave me a carb counting plan – it was like 45-60g per meal. It's best to discuss a personalized plan with a doctor or a dietitian, they can guide you properly.
