How many calories in liver?

My wife prepares different kinds of liver for dinner sometimes, like chicken or goat liver. I'm trying to keep track of my diet for health reasons, so I was wondering about the calorie count in liver generally. Can anyone provide an idea?

I know how stressful it can be when you are trying to measure every single thing you eat to recover your health. Chicken or goat liver is generally around 110 to 140 calories per 100 grams, making it very light but incredibly rich in nutrients. Please don't be hard on yourself while tracking, your body is doing its best to heal.

Liver is a very budget-friendly source of nutrition, offering around 130 calories per 100 grams. Instead of spending thousands on expensive multivitamin pills or lab tests, adding liver to your weekly diet is a highly cost-effective way to fight iron deficiency. You can buy fresh goat liver from local markets at very reasonable rates.

Goat liver (kaleji) has around 135 calories per 100 grams, while chicken liver is slightly lower at around 116 calories. I have been cooking liver for my family for years to treat low hemoglobin levels. My tip is to cook it with minimal oil and avoid heavy cream gravy to keep the calories under control.

It is completely normal to feel anxious about the nutritional content of what you eat, especially when trying to fix dietary deficiencies. Most types of liver have around 120-140 calories per 100 grams, which is highly nutritious and totally safe for weight management. Take a deep breath, you are making a great choice for your health.

At 54, my doctor told me to eat liver to keep my strength up, and it has about 135 calories per 100g. It is much better than swallowing those giant horse-sized vitamin tablets every morning! Just don't cook it with too much ghee, otherwise my cholesterol levels will throw a tantrum.

I was so worried that eating liver would spike my daily calories, but it actually has only around 130 calories per 100 grams. I read so many articles worrying about Vitamin A toxicity, but my nutritionist assured me that eating it once a week is perfectly safe. Just track your portion size and you will be completely fine!

For those with thyroid issues, getting enough selenium and iron is crucial, and liver (about 130 calories per 100g) is a fantastic source. However, because thyroid disorders can cause unexpected shifts in lipid levels, please monitor your cholesterol and get regular blood tests done. Always keep your doctor in the loop about dietary changes.
