How many calories do you burn while you sleep?

I'm trying to be more mindful of my daily calorie burn and was curious about rest periods. I heard that we still burn calories while sleeping. How many calories do you burn while you sleep?

Hey, don't stress too much about tracking every single calorie! You burn around 40-50 calories per hour just by sleeping and resting. Your body is doing its work, so just enjoy your sleep.

My son was asking me this too because he is very active. It is generally around 350 to 450 calories for an 8-hour sleep. Just make sure they eat a healthy, balanced dinner so their body has enough clean fuel for the night.

You burn about 400 calories a night. Honestly, instead of buying expensive smartbands or sleep tracking rings, just focus on keeping your room dark and quiet for a good night's sleep; it is absolutely free.

Don't blindly trust generic calorie-burning charts online. Your sleep calorie burn is determined by your personal Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR), which a doctor or clinical nutritionist can explain better based on your tests.

Humare sote samay bhi dil aur dimaag kaam karte hain, isliye lagbhag 40 se 50 calorie har ghante burn hoti hai. Bas samay par soiye aur acchi neend lijiye, sab thik rahega.

It is actually around 50 calories per hour, yaar. So if you sleep for 8 hours, you burn like 400 calories just resting! Pretty cool how our body works even when we are totally passed out.

As a nurse, I can tell you it's roughly 40-50 calories per hour. Your brain and internal organs require energy to rebuild tissues overnight. Just focus on deep sleep rather than over-analyzing the calorie count.
