How many almonds should a diabetic eat per day?

My doctor told me I'm pre-diabetic, and I'm trying to make dietary changes. Someone suggested eating almonds. How many almonds should a person with diabetes, or pre-diabetes, eat in a day for it to be beneficial?

My dad has diabetes and his dietician recommended eating around 5 to 6 soaked almonds in the morning. They are great for managing blood sugar spikes, but just make sure not to eat too many salted or fried ones.

I usually stick to 6-8 almonds daily as a mid-afternoon snack to avoid eating junk. It keeps me full and doesn't mess with my sugar levels at all. Just don't go eating a whole bowl of them.

Eating a small handful of soaked almonds daily is very good for health. Just take care of your diet and keep your mind relaxed.

Haan, raw or soaked almonds are the best snack for diabetes, na. Around 7-8 almonds are more than enough for a day, just avoid the store-bought salted ones because they can increase your blood pressure.

I have been managing my diabetes for the last twenty years with regular walks and proper food. I eat 5 soaked almonds every single morning before my tea, and it has worked wonders for my energy levels and health.

Nuts are excellent for vegetarians with diabetes because of the healthy fats and protein. Around 6 to 10 almonds a day is a good limit, but you must adjust your overall daily calorie intake so you don't gain weight.

Almonds can be quite expensive, so I buy them in bulk during festive sales. I usually eat 5-8 pieces a day, which is affordable and helps keep my fasting blood sugar stable without spending on fancy health foods.
