How long will miscarriage pain last?
I recently had a miscarriage and I'm still experiencing some pain and cramping. It's been a few days now. How long does the pain from a miscarriage typically last, or is it different for everyone?

The physical cramping usually starts to settle down within a week or two. Please make sure you are resting well and having warm, comforting meals. Sending you lots of love and warm hugs during this tough time! 💕
For my close friend, the physical cramping was really intense for about 3 to 5 days, almost like a very heavy period. It started getting better after a week, but the emotional pain takes much longer to heal. Just be gentle with yourself.
Physical cramping and bleeding generally subside within 7 to 14 days. However, if you experience extremely severe pain, heavy bleeding that soaks a pad in an hour, or fever, please contact your doctor immediately as these require urgent medical evaluation.
The heavy cramping lasted about 4 days for me, and then it became a dull ache for another week. Using a warm hot water bag on my tummy and taking the pain meds prescribed by my doctor really helped. Please take all the rest you need right now.
