How long will 2 stroke fuel last?

I have a small generator at home that runs on 2-stroke fuel. I mixed some up a few months ago for an emergency, but haven't used it. Does this kind of fuel go bad quickly? How long can I keep it before it spoils?

I used to panic that my mixed fuel would go bad in a couple of weeks and ruin my trimmer. But actually, if you store it in a proper sealed container in a cool place, it lasts perfectly fine for about 30 to 45 days. No need to worry too much.

Haan, fresh mix is always best, but easily a month to chal hi jata hai. Just make sure the container is tightly closed na, otherwise moisture gets in and ruins the mix. Try to make only as much as you need for the week.

From what my dad told me for our lawnmower, 2 stroke fuel starts degrading after a month because the petrol evaporates. We usually try to use it up within 3-4 weeks. If it is older than that, it is safer to just mix a fresh batch.

Using stale fuel once clogged my machine's engine badly and it cost a lot to fix. I am always extra cautious now and never use fuel that has been sitting for more than 4 weeks. If you are having issues with your equipment, better to get it checked by a professional mechanic.

Generally, 2-stroke fuel mixed with oil stays good for about 30 days. After that, the petrol quality can drop. It is always safest to mix fresh fuel in small quantities whenever you need it.

Typically, mixed fuel lasts about a month before going stale. Just like we have to stay on top of our health issues with regular blood tests and doctor follow-ups to keep things running smoothly, you have to maintain your machinery regularly with fresh fuel.
