How long until no pain after vasectomy?

My friend had a vasectomy last week, and he's still complaining about some discomfort. He's wondering when he can expect to be completely pain-free. How long after a vasectomy does the pain usually subside completely?

Most mild soreness should go away within a week, but if you have sharp pain, swelling, or a fever, you must contact your surgeon immediately. Do not ignore any signs of infection. It is always better to get it checked by the doctor who performed the procedure.

My husband went through this, and the soreness lasted about 4 to 5 days. Applying an ice pack wrapped in a clean cloth for 15 minutes at a time really helps with the dull ache. Make sure he wears supportive underwear and rests completely for the first two days.

The physical body needs about a week to recover from this minor energy disruption. Avoid any deep stretching or strenuous yoga poses for at least two weeks to let the area heal completely. Focus on simple deep breathing to manage any discomfort.

Had mine done six months ago. The actual pain stopped after day 3, but a weird heavy feeling stayed for about a week. Just wear tight briefs instead of boxers, trust me, it makes a massive difference in keeping the pain away.

My son had this done last month and he was back to absolute normal in about 7 days. The first 3 days are the most uncomfortable, so just make sure to keep some ice packs ready and don't let them lift any heavy groceries.
