How long to use sleep sack?

My baby is growing fast, and we've been using a sleep sack for a while now. At what age or stage should we typically stop using a sleep sack for infants? I want to make sure it's safe.

Oh, this is such a sweet concern for your little one! Every baby is different, so just observe their comfort. Trust your instincts, they're usually right. Stay positive and enjoy these precious moments, they fly by so fast.

Hmm, I remember using a sleep sack for my little one till about 18 months, but it depends on when they start trying to climb out of the crib or walk properly. Just make sure it's not restricting their natural movement. A peaceful sleep is so important for their growth, like a good meditation for them!

Honestly, with baby stuff, it's always best to be super careful. My nephew had some issues with overheating once, so I'd strongly suggest talking to your pediatrician. They can give proper advice based on your baby's age and development. Don't take chances.

My paediatrician actually recommended stopping sleep sacks around 12-18 months, or when they start showing signs of wanting to stand or climb. The main concern is safety and ensuring they don't trip or get tangled. Always check the TOG rating too, for appropriate warmth.

Oh, sleep sacks! Like a warm roti after a long day, so comforting for babies. I think most people use them until the baby is big enough to toss and turn a lot, maybe around 1.5 to 2 years. Then they start wanting proper blankets, just like we crave variety in our meals, haan?

I was just looking this up for my cousin's baby! From what I read online, it's generally till they can walk or pull themselves up properly, because then it becomes a tripping hazard. But every baby is different, so it's more about their developmental stage than a fixed age.

Honestly, for something as important as a baby's sleep safety, don't just rely on what people say online or random blogs. There's a lot of misinformation out there. Please, please confirm with your child's doctor. They know best about your specific baby's needs and development.
