How long should you be in core sleep?

I've been tracking my sleep using an app, and it shows different sleep stages. It mentions something called 'core sleep.' What's the ideal duration one should spend in core sleep for good rest?

Good sleep is a blessing, isn't it? The core sleep part is vital for your mind to rest and body to heal. Just focus on creating a calm environment before bed, maybe some light meditation. Trust that your body knows what it needs if you give it the chance to relax.

Core sleep, deep sleep... honestly, sometimes I'm just happy to be sleeping, yaar! My tracker says I get about 1.5-2 hours of deep sleep. Anything more feels like a bonus. If you figure out how to extend it, do share the secret!

Getting enough core sleep is super important for your body and mind to recover properly. If you're constantly feeling tired or have other health issues, it's best to consult a doctor. Don't self-diagnose based on sleep tracker apps; a professional can give real advice.

Core sleep? What is that, a luxury item? Haha. I just hope I get *any* sleep sometimes with my toddler. Honestly, if you're getting some solid, uninterrupted sleep, consider yourself lucky. My 'core sleep' is probably just 15 minutes before someone cries!

Oh, I worry about this too! I've read that about 20-25% of your total sleep should be deep sleep, which is part of core sleep. But focusing too much on the numbers makes me anxious and then I sleep worse. Just try to get consistent good quality sleep and don't stress over exact timings.

When you practice mindful breathing and gentle stretches before bed, you naturally help your body move into deeper, restorative sleep states. This 'core sleep' is when true healing happens. Just letting your breath flow deeply can make a big difference without needing to measure specific times.

Initially, I used to panic looking at my sleep tracker app about my deep sleep duration. But then my doc said it varies. As long as you wake up feeling good, that's what matters most. Don't get too caught up in the exact numbers, just ensure overall good sleep habits.

I totally get wanting to optimize your sleep! Core sleep, especially deep sleep, is where your body does a lot of its repair work. While there are general recommendations, it also varies by individual. Focus on sleep hygiene like a dark room and consistent schedule, and your body will usually find its rhythm.

Haha, I don't know much about 'core sleep' timings, but I do know that a good night's sleep stops me from craving all sorts of junk food the next day! Maybe that's the real benefit of deep sleep. If I sleep well, I'm less likely to raid the fridge at midnight for snacks!

My grandmother always said 'sound sleep is the best medicine.' For core sleep, it’s not about watching a clock, but how refreshed you feel. Usually, it's a good chunk of your night. If you're concerned about sleep quality, a doctor can give the best advice, perhaps even suggest a sleep study if needed.
