How long should u wait to sleep after eating?

I often feel bloated and uncomfortable if I go to bed right after dinner. My mom always told me to wait a while, but I want to know what's generally recommended. How long should one ideally wait to sleep after eating a meal?

I used to struggle with acidity big time because I'd just crash after dinner. My doc told me to wait at least 2-3 hours, and it made a huge difference. Especially after a heavy meal, your stomach needs that time to digest properly. Now, I try to finish dinner earlier and just chill for a bit before bed.

It's always best to give your body time to digest food before lying down. Ideally, wait for about 2 to 3 hours after a main meal. If you have a very light snack, maybe an hour is fine. This helps prevent acidity and indigestion. If you still face issues even after waiting, then please see a doctor, it could be something else.

Hey, it's a good habit to give your body some time after eating. Aim for 2 to 3 hours, especially after dinner. This helps with digestion and prevents issues like heartburn or indigestion that can disrupt your sleep. It's about letting your system work properly without immediately going horizontal.

Dude, don't stress too much about the exact minute, but try for a good 2-3 hours after eating a proper meal. If it's just a light snack, maybe 1 hour is okay. Lying down right after eating can give you heartburn, which is the worst! Just give your tummy a break before hitting the bed.
