How long should a teenager sleep?

I'm 15 and always feel tired, especially during school days. My parents keep telling me I need to sleep more. How many hours should a teenager like me actually be sleeping?

Don't just believe anything you read online about sleep. For teenagers, usually 8-10 hours are recommended, but it varies for each person. If you're concerned about your teen's sleep, please talk to their doctor. They can give proper, verified medical advice.

I always go to Apollo Hospital for my family's health. For a teenager, their pediatrician or a good family doctor can tell you best. My doctor said 8-10 hours is ideal, but ask specifically if there are any underlying issues that could be affecting their sleep.

When my son became a teenager, his sleep patterns changed a lot. I used to panic because he would sleep so much, or sometimes too little. But it's normal for them to need around 8-10 hours. Their bodies are growing and changing a lot, so sleep is crucial. Don't worry too much!

Ah, teenagers! They operate on their own time zone, haha. My little sister usually crashes for 9-10 hours, especially on weekends. During exams, it's 5 hours, fueled by instant noodles! As long as they're not zombies, it's probably fine.

My younger brother sleeps till noon sometimes! I get so worried he's sleeping too much, or not enough on school nights. Is 8-10 hours really normal for them? Does anyone else feel their teenagers sleep too much or too little?

From what I've seen with my younger cousins, teenagers need quite a bit of sleep. They usually aim for 8-9 hours, but sometimes they pull all-nighters for exams. It's a phase of lots of changes and demands. But I'm not a doc, so this is just my observation.
