How long should a 7 month old sleep at night?

My seven-month-old is getting more mobile and playing a lot, but his sleep has become a bit erratic at night. My wife wants to know if he's getting enough rest. How long should a 7-month-old typically sleep at night?

A 7-month-old typically sleeps for about 11-12 hours at night, though it's common for them to still have one or two brief wake-ups for feeding or comfort. Establishing a consistent bedtime routine helps a lot. If you're concerned about sleep patterns, it's always best to consult your pediatrician for personalized advice.

Yaar, don't stress too much! At 7 months, most babies are sleeping about 11-12 hours at night, but a quick feed or cuddle in between is totally normal. Just make sure their room is dark and comfy, and a good bedtime routine usually works wonders.

While 11-12 hours is generally expected for a 7-month-old at night, every baby is unique. If your baby's sleep seems significantly less, or if they are unusually restless, drowsy, or irritable during the day, it's really important to consult your pediatrician. My cousin had some issues, so I always say better safe than sorry.

My 7-month-old started sleeping pretty solid stretches, like 10-11 hours at night, sometimes waking once for a feed. It's a great age where they really start settling into a routine. Make sure they're full before bed and have a calming bedtime ritual, it helps a lot!

Yay, 7 months! 🎉 Most babies start sleeping 11-12 hours at night around this time, which is amazing! They might still wake up for a quick cuddle or feed, but it's usually much better than before. You got this! ✨

Good sleep is so important for everyone, including babies, and can even impact things like thyroid function later on. A 7-month-old generally needs about 11-12 hours of sleep at night. If you notice any unusual sleep patterns or other developmental concerns, always bring it up with their doctor during check-ups. Regular follow-ups are key.
