How long should a 5 month old sleep at night?

My five-month-old baby is still waking up a few times at night. My sister said her baby was sleeping through the night by this age. Is there a guideline for how long a 5-month-old should sleep at night without waking?

Paanch mahine ka bachcha ab raat ko lambi neend le sakta hai. 10-12 ghante aaram se so sakta hai, shayad ek baar uthe doodh ke liye. Routine banao, jaldi sona sikhayega.

At 5 months, babies typically sleep around 10-12 hours at night, possibly with one or two brief wakings. But every baby is different. Please, don't try any internet 'sleep training' methods without talking to your pediatrician first. Always get professional advice.

My 5-month-old started sleeping pretty well, like 10-11 hours at night, sometimes with one feed around 3 AM. We made sure his last feed was good and heavy. It's a sweet spot where they start consolidating sleep. A good bedtime routine really helped us.

Our elders always say a well-fed baby sleeps soundly. For a 5-month-old, they generally sleep 10-12 hours at night, maybe one quick feed. But if there are any specific concerns, always best to check with the doctor, they give the most accurate advice.

A 5-month-old sleeps that long? Wow. So, like, they don't wake up hungry at all then? Or do they still need feeds in the middle of the night at that age?
