How long should a 2-month-old sleep at night without eating?

My two-month-old wakes up almost every 2-3 hours at night for feeding. I'm trying to get her to sleep longer stretches. How long can a 2-month-old go without eating at night?

My sister's 2-month-old usually sleeps for around 3-4 hours max without waking for a feed. Sometimes 5 hours if we're lucky! They're still too young for super long stretches without food, so don't expect them to sleep through the night.

I remember how emotionally draining it was, waking up every few hours. For a 2-month-old, 3-5 hours without feeding at night is quite typical. Don't feel bad if your baby wakes up more often; it's a common struggle, and you're not alone in feeling exhausted.

Based on my personal experience with my kids, at two months, they would usually sleep for a maximum of 4-5 hours at night before needing a feed. Sometimes it was just 3 hours. It really depends on the baby, but don't expect them to go all night without food.

A 2-month-old usually cannot go more than 4-6 hours at night without feeding, and often it's less, like 3-4 hours. Their rapid growth requires frequent nourishment. If your baby is sleeping much longer than this without feeding, especially if they are not gaining weight well, it is important to consult your pediatrician to ensure everything is okay.

From what I've seen with my cousin's baby, at 2 months, they can maybe sleep for 3-5 hours without eating. But mostly they're up every few hours. It's like their tiny stomachs can't hold much, so they get hungry fast, lol.

Haha, 'sleep without eating' for a 2-month-old? That's a dream for us parents! Realistically, 3-5 hours is pretty good. My back aches just thinking about those days, but it does pass. Just survive, momma!

Yaar, don't stress too much about this. A 2-month-old is still super small. They might sleep 3-5 hours without a feed, but that's about it. Every baby is different, so focus on if your baby is happy and gaining weight. That's what really matters!
