How long should a 2 month old sleep?

My two-month-old is sleeping a lot, which is great for me, but I'm worried if it's too much or too little. What's the normal duration a baby of this age should be sleeping for?

Yes, a 2-month-old needs quite a bit of sleep, usually around 14-17 hours in total over 24 hours. They are growing so fast!

Bacha abhi chhota hai na. Do mahine ka bachcha bahut sota hai, lagbhag 14-17 ghante. Chinta mat karo, sab theek hai.

Proper sleep is as crucial for a 2-month-old as good nutrition. They typically sleep 14-17 hours in a 24-hour cycle, but this is broken into short naps and night stretches, with frequent feedings. Ensuring they are well-fed will help them get proper sleep.

For a 2-month-old, the total sleep in a day should be around 14-17 hours. I've seen some baby tracker apps that help log their sleep and feeding patterns, which can be super useful to see if they're getting enough. It's all about consistent development at this stage.

Generally, a 2-month-old needs about 14-17 hours of sleep in a 24-hour period, including naps. However, this is usually broken up into multiple short periods due to feeding needs. Every baby is different, so if you have concerns about your baby's sleep, consulting your pediatrician would be the best approach.
