How long is typhoid fever vaccine good for?

My kids got their typhoid fever vaccine a while back. I want to ensure they're still protected, so I'm trying to find out how long the vaccine is typically good for.

Ah, typhoid fever vaccine. I remember when these things were quite new. From my experience and what doctors say, the protection isn't forever, like some childhood vaccines. It usually lasts a few years, maybe 2 to 5 depending on the type. Just keep track and get your booster, no need to stress. We've seen worse, these things are manageable.

For the typhoid vaccine, my doctor told me the injectable one needs a booster every 2-3 years, and the oral one every 5 years. It's like managing diabetes, constant monitoring is key. Always eat clean, especially for us with health conditions, to prevent any food-borne infections.

I was just looking into this for some travel plans! From what I researched, the injectable typhoid vaccine gives about 2-3 years of protection, and the oral one lasts for around 5 years. So yeah, you need to get boosters. Good to know these things beforehand!

Honestly, for vaccines, don't rely on random info. Typhoid vaccine has different types, and each has a different efficacy period. Usually 2-5 years. Always, always verify with your doctor or a reputable health clinic. They'll tell you which vaccine you got and when the next dose is due. Don't take chances.

Hey, don't stress too much about the typhoid vaccine! It's not a 'one and done' kind of thing. For the shot, it's usually good for 2-3 years, and the oral pills give you protection for maybe 5 years. Just keep a reminder for your next dose, and you'll be fine, yaar!

Hello, I'm also wondering about this. So, it's not like the measles vaccine which is for life? And do both the injection and the oral drops have the same protection duration? Thank you for any guidance.
