How long is tb vaccine good for?

My child received the TB vaccine when they were young. I'm wondering if booster shots are needed later in life. How long is the TB vaccine considered effective for?

The BCG vaccine is usually given in childhood. It offers protection for several years, especially against severe forms of TB in young children. Focus on maintaining a healthy lifestyle; that's also a big part of staying well. Stay positive!

The BCG vaccine, primarily given in infancy, offers protection mainly against severe forms of TB in children. Its efficacy against adult pulmonary TB is quite variable and diminishes over time. For specific concerns about your protection, consulting a doctor is the best course of action.

Hey! The BCG vaccine is mostly for kids and helps them a lot against serious TB! ✨ It gives protection for many years, but it's not like a forever shield, especially for adults. 😊 Always good to be generally healthy too!

The BCG vaccine is more for childhood protection, from what I understand. For overall immunity against diseases, eating well, having turmeric milk, etc. helps. But for any specific worries about TB symptoms or its vaccine, best to see a doctor for proper advice.
