How long is one sleep cycle?

I'm trying to understand my sleep better with a new app. It talks about sleep cycles, but I'm not sure what 'one sleep cycle' actually means in terms of duration. Could someone explain how long a typical sleep cycle is?

It's understandable to think about sleep cycles, especially when trying to improve sleep quality! Typically, one full sleep cycle lasts about 90 minutes, going through different stages of sleep. Knowing this helped me manage my sleep anxiety a bit better.

Yaar, actually, one sleep cycle is roughly 90 minutes. It goes from light sleep to deep sleep to REM sleep, and then it repeats. Knowing this helps you plan your sleep better so you wake up feeling refreshed. Always try to wake up at the end of a cycle.

A complete sleep cycle typically lasts about 90 minutes. During the night, we go through 4-6 such cycles. Each cycle comprises different stages: NREM (N1, N2, N3 - deep sleep) and REM sleep. Aiming for multiples of 90 minutes can sometimes help you wake up feeling more rested.

One sleep cycle is about 90 minutes, right? That's barely enough time to dream about my next biryani! Jokes aside, getting enough full cycles makes a huge difference. Good sleep makes my food taste better too!

One sleep cycle is generally around 90 minutes. I always try to ensure I get at least 5-6 cycles, which means 7.5 to 9 hours of sleep. Good sleep is important, no need for fancy gadgets or expensive tests for that, just good planning and discipline.

I used to overthink my sleep a lot, trying to figure out exact timings! But then I learned a sleep cycle is roughly 90 minutes, and it really normalized things for me. You just need to try and get enough of those cycles. Don't stress if it's not exactly 90 every time.

Yay, sleep! 😴 One sleep cycle is usually around 90 minutes! It's like your body's little routine to get through all the sleep stages. Aim for 4-6 cycles for a truly refreshing night! ✨

My sleep specialist at Apollo Hospital told me one sleep cycle is approximately 90 minutes. It's important to aim for multiple full cycles for restorative sleep. If you're having trouble, always ask your doctor clearly about sleep hygiene and possible issues.
