How long is a tb screening good for?

I had a TB screening done a few months back for a new job. Now I might be switching companies again. Does anyone know how long a TB screening report is usually considered valid for?

Yaar, please don't make my mistake. I had a nagging cough and thought 'oh, my screening was recent, it's nothing.' It turned out to be early stage TB. Always better to re-screen if you develop any symptoms, even if your last one was just a few months ago. Don't ignore your body's signals.

It's tough when you're worried about these things, I totally get it. The anxiety alone can be draining. Generally, TB screenings are considered good for about a year if you don't have new exposure or symptoms. But sometimes, for specific purposes, they might ask for a more recent one. Trust your gut and talk to a doctor if you're concerned.

Hello dear. For general purposes, a TB screening is often considered valid for about a year, especially if it's for something like an annual health check. However, if there's any new exposure, travel to high-risk areas, or development of symptoms like prolonged cough, fever, weight loss, then a fresh screening is always recommended. Please prioritize your health and consult a doctor if unsure.

Listen, don't stress too much, but also don't take it lightly. A TB screening generally holds up for about a year. But health is not a fixed thing, right? So if you feel off, or if you've been around someone with TB, just get it checked again. Better to be safe than sorry, always.

Hey! So for a TB screening, typically it's valid for about a year, unless there's a specific requirement from an employer or an institution that asks for a more recent one. Also, if you develop new symptoms or have a known exposure, you'd need another one. Best to follow up with a doctor for personalized advice.

My family always says, when in doubt, check it out! While a general guideline for TB screening validity is around a year, it's not a hard and fast rule. If you're going for a job, or immigration, or if you feel even slightly unwell, just get a fresh screening. Safety first, always.
