How long is a sleep cycle?

I've been feeling quite tired even after sleeping for 7-8 hours, and my friend suggested looking into sleep cycles. What's the average duration of one complete sleep cycle?

A full sleep cycle is usually around 90 minutes. Think of it like a perfectly portioned meal for your brain! You need a few of these 'meals' (cycles) to feel fully recharged, ready for more delicious food and life!

A full sleep cycle, from light sleep to deep sleep and then REM, typically lasts about 90 minutes. So, if you're aiming for 7-8 hours of sleep, you'd go through about 4-5 cycles. Understanding this helps me plan my bedtime better!

A sleep cycle is supposedly 90 minutes. I wouldn't know, honestly. My sleep cycles are usually interrupted by my brain reminding me of embarrassing things I did ten years ago! But yeah, the theory says 90 mins.

My doctor explained that a full sleep cycle, encompassing all stages from NREM to REM sleep, typically lasts about 90 minutes. Most adults complete 4-6 such cycles during a good night's sleep. Disruptions can significantly impact sleep quality.

Ek poora neend ka chakra, jismein halki neend aur gehri neend dono aati hain, lagbhag dedh ghanta (90 minute) hota hai. Achi neend ke liye aise char-paanch chakkar hone chahiye. Tabhi subah accha lagta hai.

A sleep cycle? It's about 90 minutes. I wonder if mine even completes one cycle these days before my alarm (or kids!) wakes me up! Haha. Good sleep feels like a luxury now, but we all need those cycles.
