How long for motrin to bring down fever?

My nephew has a fever and we gave him Motrin, as prescribed by the doctor. I'm just trying to gauge when we can expect the fever to actually start coming down after he takes the medicine.

Haha, Motrin for fever? It's not a magic wand, but usually, it starts doing its thing in about 30-60 minutes for me. Don't expect an instant freezer experience, but you'll definitely feel a difference. If not, maybe your fever is just being stubborn!

For simple fevers, I always try a cold compress and plenty of fluids first. But if it's a high fever or not coming down, Motrin can work. Usually, it takes around 30 minutes to an hour to start showing effect. If fever persists or gets very high, please see a doctor immediately, don't rely only on medicines.

Our body has an amazing ability to heal, and medicines help this process. Motrin should begin to bring down a fever within an hour or so. Remember to rest, hydrate well, and keep a positive mindset. And if you're worried, always seek a doctor's advice for peace of mind.

Hey, don't worry too much. Motrin (ibuprofen) typically starts to work within 30 minutes to an hour. You should notice the fever beginning to come down and feel a bit more comfortable. Make sure you're also staying hydrated. If the fever stays high or you feel worse, definitely check with a doctor.

From my experience with fevers in the family, Motrin usually kicks in within 45 minutes to an hour. You'll see the temperature drop a little, and the discomfort eases. Don't expect it to go back to normal instantly, but it definitely brings it down. Keep checking the temperature and don't overdose.

My doctor explained that ibuprofen, which is in Motrin, typically begins to reduce fever within 30 to 60 minutes. The peak effect usually happens around 1-2 hours after taking it. It's important to not exceed the prescribed dosage and maintain proper hydration.

In my time, we just used home remedies, but now Motrin is common. It works quite quickly, I'd say within the hour, you should start feeling some relief. Don't worry, just take your medicine and try to get some rest. It will pass.

Motrin goli khaane ke baad, thoda sabar karna padta hai beta. Ek ghante tak to shuru ho jaati hai asar dikhana. Accha lagega phir thodi der mein. Khoob paani peena aur aaram karna, theek ho jaaoge jaldi.

Motrin? I wish it worked as fast as my phone battery drains! But seriously, it usually takes about half an hour to an hour to feel the fever reducing. If I'm lucky, I might even get a nap in before the next dose. Good luck with that fever!

Oh, fever is the worst! For me, Motrin usually starts working in about 30-45 minutes. I usually feel a bit less achy and the temperature starts dipping. Just make sure you're drinking lots of water too, that really helps alongside the medicine!
