How long for kidney stones to form?

My father recently had kidney stones, and the doctor said it's important to drink enough water. I'm worried about myself now. Roughly how long does it usually take for kidney stones to form in someone if they are prone to them?

It can really vary a lot for kidney stones. Don't worry too much, but talk to a doctor.

Oh, kidney stones? I'm new to this topic, but from what I've heard, it's not a fast process. Does it depend on diet and water intake a lot? How long does it usually take to feel symptoms after they start forming?

Kidney stone formation isn't a quick thing; it can take months or even years depending on factors like diet, hydration, genetics, and underlying medical conditions. It's a gradual accumulation of minerals. Regular check-ups if you're predisposed are important.

Haan, kidney stones ka process thoda lamba hota hai. Ek din mein toh nahi bante na. Depends on your water intake, diet, aur body kaise minerals process karti hai. Kai mahine ya saal bhi lag sakte hain. Pani khoob piyo, always!

Kidney stones are sneaky! 🙈 They can form over weeks, months, or even years without you knowing until they cause trouble. So it's not like you eat something today and boom, stone tomorrow. Hydration is super important! 💧

Betaji, kidney stones do not form quickly. It can take many months or even years for them to grow. It depends on what you eat, how much water you drink, and your body's nature. Drink plenty of water and some traditional remedies like kulthi daal are also said to help, but always consult a doctor too.
