How long for dandruff shampoo to work?

I've been dealing with dandruff for a while now, and it's quite irritating. I just bought a new anti-dandruff shampoo and started using it. How long does it typically take for dandruff shampoo to actually work and show results?

Dandruff can be really annoying, I know. For dandruff shampoos, usually, you need to use them consistently for at least 2-4 weeks to see significant improvement. Don't expect instant results after one wash. Also, a healthy lifestyle helps. Maybe not directly related, but a good walk and balanced diet always benefit overall health, including skin and scalp.

My dermatologist explained that dandruff shampoos often contain active ingredients like ketoconazole, selenium sulfide, or zinc pyrithione. They need consistent application over 2-4 weeks, typically 2-3 times a week, to effectively control the scalp condition. He stressed that stopping too early can cause a relapse. If there's no improvement, it indicates a need for a different formulation or a professional diagnosis.

As a working professional, I need solutions that work fast and efficiently. For dandruff shampoo, you typically need to use it 2-3 times a week for about a month to really see it working. Don't give up after a few washes. If it doesn't improve by then, it might be time to try a different active ingredient or consult a dermatologist.

Yaar, actually, dandruff shampoo takes some time, haan. Like, you can't just use it once and expect magic. Minimum 2-3 weeks, use it every other day or so. If after a month, no improvement, then change the brand or actually consult a dermatologist. Mere saath bhi hua hai, you have to be consistent.

Dandruff shampoo? Oh, it's not a magic potion, my friend! ✨ You gotta be patient. Usually, it takes around 2-4 weeks of regular use to see those stubborn flakes start waving goodbye. So, keep washing and don't expect your head to be a snow globe after just one go! 😂

Beti, dandruff shampoo needs patience. Don't think it will work immediately. You must use it regularly for at least two to four weeks. Wash your hair nicely with it every few days. If after one month, you still see flakes, then perhaps try a different one or show to a doctor for better advice.
