How long fever before doctor?

My son has a high fever for the last day, and I've been giving him paracetamol. He's still quite warm. I'm trying to decide if we should see a doctor soon. How long should one typically wait with a fever before seeing a doctor?

It can be really unsettling when you have a fever and you're not sure if it's serious or not. I've been there, constantly checking my temperature. Generally, if an adult's fever is above 102°F (39°C) or lasts more than 2-3 days, it's definitely time to see a doctor. Trust your gut feeling too if you're feeling really unwell.

Yo, if your fever is like, 101 or 102 for more than 2 days, or if you feel super weak, just go to the doc. No point waiting. For me, if it hits 100 for more than a day and I feel like crap, I usually just get it checked out. Better safe than sorry.

Hey, don't stress too much about it, but definitely keep an eye on it. If your fever is above 102°F (39°C) or if it's 100°F (38°C) and lasts for more than 2-3 days, then it's time to visit the doctor. Also, if you have other symptoms like severe body ache or difficulty breathing, just go right away!

Haan na, fever can be tricky. If it's a mild fever, say 99-100, and you're otherwise okay, maybe wait a day or two with home remedies. But if it goes above 101-102 or doesn't go down after 2-3 days, or if you feel very weak, then doctor ko dikhana hi padega. Don't take unnecessary risk, ho na.

For adults, if fever crosses 102°F, or if it lasts for more than 3 days, it's time to see the doctor. For kids, I usually don't wait more than a day if it's high. Also, look out for other symptoms like severe body aches, rash, or breathlessness. Don't self-medicate for too long.
