How long does your arm hurt before a heart attack?

My father had a heart attack last year and he complained about arm pain before it happened. I've been feeling some discomfort in my left arm lately, just a mild ache. How long does your arm typically hurt before a heart attack?

My arm hurts after a heavy grocery run, does that count? 😂 Kidding! But seriously, if you're actually worried about a heart attack, please don't ask on the internet, go straight to a doctor or hospital. Better to be safe than sorry, always!

Oh, this is an important question! I've read that arm pain, especially in the left arm, can be a symptom. It might not be for long, sometimes just minutes or hours, or it can build up. But if anyone feels it along with chest pain or breathlessness, it's a medical emergency, right?

As a diabetic, I am very careful about any unusual symptoms, especially chest or arm pain. Arm pain that signals a heart attack can be sudden, or it can come and go for a short period before the attack. This is a very serious symptom. If you are experiencing such pain, please seek immediate medical attention. Don't delay for a second.

This is a serious medical issue. If you have arm pain that you suspect could be related to your heart, you absolutely must see a doctor immediately, not ask on a forum. There's no fixed timeline for such a symptom; it's an emergency. Please, consult a medical professional directly.
