How long does vomiting last with fpies?

My friend's baby was recently diagnosed with FPIES, and they're trying to understand the symptoms better. I heard vomiting is a major one. How long does vomiting usually last with FPIES episodes? Is it prolonged?

FPIES is quite serious, especially in kids. Vomiting with FPIES can be severe and last for several hours, sometimes up to 24 hours after exposure to the trigger food. It's not like regular vomiting, and dehydration is a big risk. You really need a doctor's guidance for diagnosis and management; don't try to manage it alone.

With FPIES (Food Protein-Induced Enterocolitis Syndrome), the vomiting is usually delayed, starting 1-4 hours after eating the trigger food. The vomiting episodes can be quite severe and prolonged, often lasting for several hours, sometimes up to 24 hours. The key is strict avoidance of trigger foods and prompt medical attention during a reaction to prevent dehydration.

FPIES is complex. If it's an acute reaction, vomiting typically starts a few hours after eating the trigger food and can go on for several hours, even up to a full day. I'd suggest documenting reactions meticulously, maybe with a food and symptom tracker app, to help your doctor identify triggers and patterns more precisely.

FPIES reactions can be really tough, especially with the severe vomiting. It usually starts a few hours after the trigger food and can last for several hours, sometimes up to 24 hours. The main thing is to stay calm, manage hydration, and ensure you have an action plan from your doctor. They will guide you best.

Oh man, FPIES sounds like no fun at all! Vomiting that lasts for hours, that's like a bad Bollywood movie marathon you can't escape. Seriously though, I hear it can last for many hours after the trigger. Make sure you've got a good doctor on your side, because nobody wants that kind of encore performance!

Beta, FPIES is a specific problem, not like a regular upset stomach. The vomiting can be quite severe and can last for many hours after eating something that doesn't suit. For such things, gharelu nuskhe won't work much; you need a doctor's advice and careful management. Keep the child well-hydrated.

My child has FPIES, so I know this well. When he accidentally eats a trigger food, the vomiting starts usually within 1-4 hours and can go on for 6-8 hours, sometimes even longer if we don't catch it quickly. It's intense, with pale skin and lethargy. The best tip is always have an emergency plan with your doctor and be super careful about diet.

I had a friend whose younger brother had FPIES. When he got triggered, the vomiting would start after a couple of hours and literally last for 6-8 hours straight. It was pretty bad. They had to be super careful with his food. Don't mess around with it, get a doc involved.

Bhaiyya, FPIES mein vomiting bahut zyada ho sakti hai aur ghanton tak chal sakti hai, maine suna hai. Aise mein bachhe ko jaldi doctor ke paas le jaana chahiye. Pani ki kami na ho, iska dhyan rakho.

FPIES requires careful management, and that intense vomiting isn't something to take lightly. It generally lasts for several hours post-exposure. While I usually advocate for physical activity, during such severe episodes, rest and medical care are paramount. Ensure you're working with a doctor to identify triggers and have an action plan.
