How long does typhoid fever last?

A friend of mine was recently diagnosed with typhoid and is now recovering. It made me wonder, generally, how long does typhoid fever last? Is it a very prolonged illness?

Typhoid fever can be quite stubborn! 😩 If treated properly, it usually lasts about 7-10 days, but sometimes it can go on for 2-4 weeks if it's severe or treatment is delayed. Make sure you complete the full course of antibiotics your doctor prescribes, even if you start feeling better! Speedy recovery! 💪

Typhoid is serious business, not something to take lightly. If diagnosed and treated with antibiotics, it typically lasts for 7-10 days. However, if not treated promptly or if it's a severe case, it can extend to several weeks and even lead to complications. Please, please get a proper diagnosis and follow the doctor's complete course of treatment. Safety first.

Bhai, typhoid is no joke. I got it once, and even with meds, I was down for almost 2 weeks, maybe a bit more. It really drains you. If it's severe or you delay treatment, it can last even longer. Just follow the doctor's advice strictly, no shortcuts.

Typhoid can last for weeks if not treated properly. Don't try to self-medicate or wait too long, because then the treatment becomes longer and more expensive. Get tested early, a proper diagnosis saves money in the long run. Follow the doctor's plan; don't skip medicines to save a few rupees, it's not worth the health risk.

Typhoid ka bukhar toh bahut taakat le leta hai. Agar dawa sahi time pe mil jaye, toh 7 se 10 din mein theek hone lagta hai. Pura course karna chahiye. Hamare zamane mein nimbu pani aur halka khana dete the, abhi bhi woh sab acha hai, par dawa ke saath. Doctor ki baat suno pehle.
