How long does the pain of wisdom tooth extraction last?

Got my wisdom tooth pulled out yesterday, and the pain is still quite intense. Just wondering, how long does the pain of wisdom tooth extraction typically last before it starts subsiding?

Hey there! Wisdom tooth extraction pain usually peaks in the first 2-3 days. After that, it should gradually lessen. Most people feel pretty normal after about a week, though mild tenderness can linger. Just stick to soft foods and prescribed meds.

Aww, don't stress too much, yaar! Everyone goes through this. The worst of it is usually over in 3-4 days. Just keep up with your medicines and eat lots of ice cream. You'll be fine before you know it!

I used my health app to track my pain levels post-extraction. The first 48 hours were the toughest, then it became much more manageable. Make sure to log when you take painkillers to stay on schedule and not miss doses. Rest up!

I remember the pain! For me, it was bad for about 5 days. I did warm salt water rinses religiously, it really helped with keeping the area clean and reducing swelling. Also, soft diet for a good week. It feels like forever when you're in pain, but it passes.

Is the pain very sharp or more of a dull ache? I'm getting mine out soon and I'm a bit nervous about the recovery. How long before you could eat solid food properly?
