How long does tetanus shot pain last?

I just got a tetanus shot yesterday, and my arm is really sore. It's quite uncomfortable. How long does the pain from a tetanus shot usually last?

Oh, that tetanus shot pain, it's like my arm decided to go on strike! For me, it's usually a solid 2 days of 'ouch, don't touch me' soreness, sometimes a bit less. Then it magically disappears, just in time for me to forget about it until the next one. Send ice packs!

Generally, the soreness from a tetanus shot lasts about 2-3 days. You might feel a dull ache and a bit of stiffness at the injection site. Keeping the arm moving and applying a cold compress initially can really help reduce the discomfort. It's totally normal.

Oh, I totally remember that! My arm felt so heavy. Usually, the pain and soreness last for about 2-3 days. I found that gently massaging the area and putting a warm cloth helped a bit. Just try to move your arm normally, it actually helps to spread the medicine and reduce stiffness.

I logged my tetanus shot in my health app. My data showed that the localized pain was most noticeable for about 48 hours, then tapered off by day 3. Keeping up with hydration and light arm movements, as suggested by my doctor, seemed to aid recovery.

I totally get it, that tetanus shot pain can be quite annoying! For most people, the soreness and discomfort at the injection site typically last for about 1 to 3 days. It's just your body reacting to the vaccine, and it will pass.

Usually, the pain is just for a day or two, sometimes three. But if the pain becomes severe, or you notice excessive swelling, redness, or feel very unwell, it's always best to contact your doctor. While rare, complications can occur, so better to be safe.

Bro, my arm was so stiff after my last tetanus shot! It hurt for like, two full days, couldn't even lift my laptop properly. Then it just kinda eased off. So yeah, expect a couple of days of mild suffering, lol.
