How long does teething pain last in babies?

My 8-month-old is super cranky and chewing on everything. Everyone says it's teething, but I'm just wondering how long this phase usually lasts. Will she be this restless for many days?

For my kids, teething pain usually lasted 2-3 days max, right before the tooth popped. We used a cold teether and sometimes a very mild teething gel recommended by our pediatrician. Simple things work best.

Babies' discomfort during teething can vary a lot, just like how our health issues like thyroid affect people differently. Always good to monitor their symptoms and if anything seems too severe or prolonged, a quick chat with their doctor is wise, just like we do for our regular checkups.

Oh, this is tough phase, I remember. It can last for a few days before a tooth cuts through, sometimes off and on for a week. We tried everything – frozen banana, gum massage, even those amber necklaces (didn't work much lol). Just lots of cuddles and patience, that's the real remedy.

It feels like forever when you're in the middle of it, honestly. The sleepless nights and constant crying can really take a toll on parents. Just remember you're not alone, it's a difficult period but it does pass.

Mine lasted about 4-5 days with my first one, and he was so cranky. Is that normal? I kept worrying if it was something else. Did anyone else's baby also get a slight fever or loose motions during teething?

Oh, the teething phase! It can be quite challenging. From what I've seen with my niece, the really bad pain usually lasts for 2-4 days when the tooth is about to break through. After that, it gets better. Just keep offering comfort.

Mere baby ke saath abhi last month hi hua tha. It was about 3-4 days of peak grumpiness and refusing to eat much. Then suddenly, poof, the tooth was out! It felt like an eternity but looking back, it was a short phase.

Hey, don't stress too much about it! Every baby is different but generally, the intense pain is only for a couple of days around when the tooth actually appears. The fussiness might linger a bit longer. Just keep them comfy, you're doing great!

Last? What is this 'last' you speak of? It feels like it lasts forever, especially at 3 AM when your tiny human is screaming like a banshee. But seriously, usually a few days per tooth. Then they stop screaming for that one and start for the next. Send coffee.

Haan, teething ka toh bada masla hai, na. Mere bete ko toh 2-3 din bohot pareshan karta tha ek daant. Tabiyat kharab ho jaati thi uski. Fir chala jaata hai, don't worry. Thanda teether aur massage se thoda aram mil jaata hai.
