How long does tb take to cure?

My friend is undergoing treatment for TB, and he's feeling quite low about the long duration. I want to give him some perspective. Generally, how long does it take for TB to be completely cured with medication?

My dear, TB is a journey, and with faith and proper treatment, it is curable. The medicine takes time to do its work, usually 6 to 9 months, sometimes longer. Stay positive, keep your spirits up, and complete your medication diligently. Your health is a blessing.

TB treatment is a long haul, minimum 6 months of meds. You gotta be disciplined, just like with a workout routine. Diet is super important too – focus on protein and good nutrition to support your body's healing. Light exercise, if your doc allows, can also help with recovery and mood.

The length of TB treatment can feel incredibly daunting, often 6 to 9 months, and sometimes even longer. It's okay to feel frustrated or tired during this period. Just remember that it is curable, and every day you take your medicine is a step closer to being completely healthy again.

Having dealt with TB myself, I can tell you the treatment typically lasts 6 to 9 months, sometimes up to a year for drug-resistant types. The key is absolute adherence to medication, no skipping doses, and regular follow-ups. You will feel better long before the treatment ends, but you *must* complete the full course. It's a commitment, but it's completely curable.

I just finished my TB treatment a few months ago! It took me exactly 7 months, so yeah, it's a long commitment. But if you take your meds diligently every single day, you will be cured. Don't stop even if you feel fine. It makes a huge difference.

It's usually a good 6 to 9 months of medication for TB, sometimes more if it's complicated. While you're on treatment, ask your doctor about what kind of physical activity is safe. Even light walking can help with energy levels and overall well-being, but listen to your body and your doctor always.
