How long does sleep paralysis last?

Sometimes when I'm just waking up or falling asleep, I can't move or speak, and it feels very scary. My friends said it's sleep paralysis. How long does sleep paralysis typically last, because it feels like forever when it's happening?

Sleep paralysis can feel really scary, but it's usually quite short, just a few seconds to a couple of minutes. While it's generally harmless, if it's happening often, it might be good to discuss it with a doctor. Sometimes other health conditions, like thyroid issues, can affect sleep patterns, so regular check-ups are always a good idea.

Ah, sleep paralysis can be a truly unsettling experience. From my understanding and practice, it lasts only a very short while, moments that feel like an eternity. Focusing on calm breathing and gentle awareness through pranayama can sometimes help to ease out of it if you can remember to do so.

Sleep paralysis can be very scary. From what I've heard, it generally lasts a very short time, usually less than a few minutes. It's a disconnect between your brain and body during sleep. If you're experiencing it frequently, it might be worth mentioning to a doctor, just to be on the safe side, especially if you have other health concerns like PCOS, which can affect hormones and sleep.

Sleep paralysis, huh? Feels like a Monday morning sometimes! But thankfully, it's usually very brief, like a minute or two. Though in that moment, it feels like an hour. My advice: try to get decent sleep, and maybe less screen time before bed.

Oh, sleep paralysis is terrifying, I've had it a few times and it felt like it lasted forever, even though it was probably just a minute or two. The feeling of being stuck is so distressing. It's important to remember it's not real danger, just your brain playing tricks.

Sleep paralysis is temporary, bhai. It usually lasts only a few seconds to a couple of minutes. It's scary, I know, but it's not dangerous. Try to stay calm, it will pass on its own. Agar zyada ho raha hai toh doc se baat kar lo.
