While diet alone won't cure sciatica, eating an anti-inflammatory vegetarian diet with lots of greens and fruits might help reduce overall body inflammation, potentially aiding in recovery. Avoid highly processed foods. But for pain, medical treatment is essential.

Sciatic pain can be very complex because it's nerve-related. It's absolutely crucial to get a proper diagnosis from a doctor to understand the exact cause. It could be anything from a simple strain to a slipped disc. Don't leave it to chance; get it checked thoroughly.

I've been reading up on sciatica, and it seems like it can be really different for everyone. For some, it might ease up in a few weeks with conservative treatment, but for others, it can unfortunately become a long-term issue. It's quite unpredictable.
