How long does nyquil make you sleep?

Got a bad cold and someone suggested Nyquil to help me sleep through the night. How long does it typically make you sleep for? Don't want to oversleep for work.

It easily knocks you out for 7 to 8 hours, and honestly, the morning hangover can be so frustrating and make you feel really down. I hated that heavy, groggy feeling of not being fully awake even after sleeping for so long.

You can expect a solid 6 to 8 hours of sleep from it. Just a warm tip: only take it if you actually have a full 8 hours to commit to resting, otherwise you will wake up feeling very dizzy and tired the next day.

It keeps you asleep for around 7-8 hours because of the antihistamine in it. Make sure you don't use it regularly as a sleep aid, because it can mess up your natural recovery. Try to stick to a good sleep hygiene and light physical activity instead.

You will sleep for 7-8 hours easily. Just remember that imported syrups like Nyquil can be quite expensive here in India; you can ask your local pharmacist for cheaper Indian alternatives with the same active ingredients.

It usually induces sleep for about 7 to 8 hours. Since I have thyroid issues and take daily meds, I always consult my doctor before taking any heavy over-the-counter syrups to avoid any unexpected interactions.

Whenever I take it, I sleep for almost 9 hours and still wake up feeling super out of it. Does anyone else get this intense grogginess the entire next afternoon? It really scares me how heavy this medicine feels.
