How long does it take to reverse gum disease?

My dentist told me I have early signs of gum disease and recommended more thorough cleaning and better hygiene. I'm concerned and want to fix it. How long does it typically take to reverse gum disease if I follow all the advice?

Gingivitis toh easily 2-3 weeks mein theek ho jata hai agar achhe se brush aur floss karo toh, haan. Lekin agar deep scaling karwani padi dentist se, toh gums ko recover hone mein thoda time lagta hai, na? Bas regular mouthwash use karo aur dhyan rakho.

Totally agree. A professional dental scaling session followed by warm saline rinses twice a day usually reverses early gum disease in 10 to 14 days.

Gums bleed hote hain toh pain toh hota hai, haan na. My dentist did a scaling last month and told me to brush twice daily, and the bleeding stopped in just 10 days, ho na. Just don't ignore it otherwise it gets deeper and damages the bone.

I had bleeding gums for months and thought it would go away, but I had to get a professional deep cleaning done. After the cleaning, my gums became healthy and stopped bleeding in about 2 weeks. The real tip is to start using an ultra-soft toothbrush and never skip flossing before bed.

I had really painful swollen gums last semester due to stress and ignoring my oral hygiene. I started using a soft brush and flossing daily, and honestly, they went back to normal pink color in about 2 weeks. It is all about maintaining that daily routine!

High blood sugar can make gum infections much worse and slower to heal. It took my husband, who is diabetic, almost a month and a dental procedure to reverse his gum inflammation. Make sure you keep your HbA1c strictly under control along with regular dental checkups.

Hormonal imbalances from PCOS can actually make your gums super sensitive and prone to swelling. For me, it took about 3 weeks of strict salt-water rinses and switching to a medicated toothpaste to see a change. Don't self-treat for too long if the swelling doesn't go down, get a dentist to check it.

I used to skip brushing at night because of late-night study sessions and got bad gingivitis. My dentist scolded me and made me brush twice and use a mouthwash, and my gums felt perfectly fine in like 10 days. Super easy fix if you are just consistent.
