How long does it take to rehydrate after vomiting?

Last night I had a really bad bout of vomiting and felt completely drained. My mother told me to drink lots of fluids. I'm wondering, how long does it actually take to rehydrate your body properly after vomiting a lot?

I know how terrifying it feels when you can't keep anything down and start shaking with weakness. But don't worry, your body will start rehydrating within 2 to 4 hours once you start taking very small sips of ORS or electral. Don't gulp down a full glass at once, or it might trigger vomiting again.

Whenever I have a bad stomach bug, it takes me about a full day of resting and sipping coconut water slowly to feel properly hydrated. I usually avoid any solid foods for at least 6 hours after the last vomit and stick to light liquids. Everyone's recovery is different, but this works well for me.

At fifty-four, one bad dinner can wipe out my energy for two whole days. Rehydrating is a slow game where you sip water like a royal wine, very slowly, every ten minutes. It takes a solid 24 hours to stop feeling like a squeezed lemon, so just rest and stay close to a bottle of electral.

Ulti hone ke baad shareer bilkul nichor jata hai. Aap thoda sa namak aur cheeni ka ghol gungune paani me mila kar dheere-dheere pijiye. Ek se do din lagte hain poori tarah se jaan wapas aane me, tab tak bilkul halka khana jaise dahi-chawal hi khayein.

I am experiencing this since last night and my mouth feels extremely dry. I have been taking small sips of warm water, but is it better to drink coconut water instead of plain water? How many hours should I wait before trying to eat some light khichdi?
