How long does it take to recover from sleep deprivation?

I've been working crazy hours lately and haven't been getting much sleep at all. Now I'm feeling really drained and can't focus. How long does it actually take to recover from chronic sleep deprivation and feel refreshed again?

Whenever I pull an all-nighter, my body starts craving heavy oily food and tons of sugar the next day. It usually takes me at least two nights of solid 8-hour sleep and some light home-cooked meals to get my energy back. Skip the double cheese pizza during this time or you will feel even more sluggish!

I understand how exhausting it feels when you can't sleep properly for days. Drinking a warm cup of turmeric milk or chamomile tea before bed really helps relax your nerves. Give yourself a week of consistent, quiet bedtime routines, and your body will slowly reclaim its natural sleep rhythm.

Recovering from a sleep debt takes a bit more than just one long weekend sleep. Generally, for every hour of lost sleep, your body needs a couple of nights of consistent rest to fully recover. Try doing a light workout in the evening and avoid screen time before bed to naturally improve your sleep quality.

I have been sleeping only 4 hours a night for the past three weeks due to exam stress and now I feel constantly dizzy. If I start sleeping early from today, will my brain fog clear up in a few days or does it take longer? I am a bit worried about my memory during exams.

Bro, after our college fest, I slept for almost 12 hours straight but still felt like a zombie the next day. Honestly, it takes about 3 to 4 days of a proper sleep routine to get your brain functioning normally again. Don't rely on black coffee, it just delays the crash.
