I got hit by a severe heat stroke during an outdoor match in June and had to be hospitalized for a day. Honestly, the initial fever and headache went away in 2 days, but my body felt extremely weak and dehydrated for almost a week. You just have to gulp down ORS and rest in a cool room, no shortcut.

True, it usually takes around 2 to 3 days to recover if it is mild, but your body can remain sensitive to heat for weeks after.

No need to buy fancy energy drinks for this. Just stick to simple home solutions like fresh coconut water, home-made nimbu paani with salt, and thin buttermilk. Keep the patient in a well-ventilated fan room and they should recover their normal energy level in 3 to 5 days without any issues.

It can make you feel very drained out and weak. Usually, with proper hydration and absolute rest, you will start feeling much better in 3 to 4 days. Please take care and avoid going out in the direct sun for a while.

I panicked like crazy when my body temperature shot up and I felt extremely dizzy after a noon commute. But the doctor reassured me that with continuous hydration, cool sponge baths, and proper rest, the body bounces back in 48 to 72 hours. It feels scary but you will recover fully very soon.
