How long does it take to read a tb test?

My company is doing mandatory health check-ups and they did a TB test on me. I'm a bit anxious and wondering, how long does it usually take for them to read the results of a TB test? I just want to know if everything is fine.

You must get the skin test read between 48 and 72 hours after the injection. I had mine done at Fortis Hospital, and the nurse was very strict about this window. Please ask your doctor clearly about the exact timing to avoid having to repeat the test.

It takes exactly 48 to 72 hours to get the skin test read. Don't try to look at the bump and guess the result yourself. Just go back to the lab on the scheduled day and let the professional measure it.

I completely understand the anxiety of waiting for test results, it can make you super nervous. The test has to be read in 48 to 72 hours. Try to distract yourself for these two days, and remember that a positive skin test doesn't automatically mean active TB.

The reading window is strictly 48 to 72 hours. I usually set a calendar alert on my phone right when the injection is given so I don't miss the appointment. Missing the 72-hour mark means you have to get poked all over again.

Actually, you have to go back to the clinic in 48 to 72 hours to get it read, yaar. If you cross the 72-hour limit, the test becomes invalid. Just make sure you track the time properly so you don't waste your effort.
