How long does it take to fill two cavities?

So, I went for a dental check-up and the doc said I have two cavities. I'm trying to plan my day, so I was wondering, how long does it usually take for the dentist to fill two cavities?

I had two fillings done together last month. It took exactly 40 minutes from the time I sat in the chair. My advice is to ask for a bite block to rest your jaw, it makes the long stretch much easier.

Usually, two fillings will take around 30 to 50 minutes. The dentist has to clean the decay, prepare the surface, and cure the filling material. Just make sure not to chew anything hard until the numbness wears off completely.

I have to get two cavities filled next week and I'm honestly so stressed about how long I'll have to keep my mouth open. Does the jaw start aching halfway through? They told me it takes around 45 minutes.

It generally takes around 30 to 45 minutes for two basic fillings. It is a very routine procedure, so please don't worry. You will be absolutely fine.

It actually takes like 40 minutes max, yaar. I got two of mine done during my lunch break and was back at my desk soon after. Just go to a good dentist and it will be super quick.

It is completely normal to feel nervous about this, I used to dread the dentist too. But honestly, two fillings take barely 40 minutes and the actual drilling is only for a few minutes. You can ask them to stop whenever you need a break.
