How long does it take to fill cavities?

My dentist told me I have a small cavity that needs filling. I'm a bit nervous about the procedure, so I wanted to ask, roughly how much time does it usually take to fill one cavity?

Beta, a single cavity filling usually takes about 20 to 30 minutes in the doctor's clinic. While you get them treated properly by a professional, you can also rinse with warm salt water at home to keep your gums clean and healthy.

Haan na, dental work always feels like it takes forever, but actually a basic filling is done in just 25 minutes. If there are more cavities, then obviously it takes longer. Just go to a good dentist and get it over with quickly.

On average, you can expect 30 minutes per tooth. I usually set a calendar block of 1 hour for my dental appointments to account for the registration and waiting time. Modern clinics are quite efficient now.

Getting a cavity filled takes less time than standing in a typical billing queue these days! It is usually done in 20-30 minutes. Just don't wait too long, or that simple filling will turn into a painful root canal saga.

A standard filling takes about 20 to 45 minutes depending on the size and location of the cavity. If you want to save time, book the first appointment of the morning so the dentist isn't running late with previous patients.
